Mary Ann Brown

Wichita Kansas - Brown, Mary Ann (Morrison), 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

She was born October 18, 1944 to Ted and Dorothy Morrison. She attended East High school in Wichita and graduated in 1962. She attended and graduated from business college. She was a homemaker for many years and then went on to a long and successful career at Koch Industries retiring after 20 years. Mary Ann also enjoyed cooking, crafting, decorating and sewing. Mary Ann had a passion for reading which was passed on to her daughter Jennifer.

Mary Ann married Jim Brown on June 28, 1968  in Wichita, Kansas. Jim and Mary Ann had met in their youth at West Side Baptist Church where their families had attended since its founding. Jim and Mary Ann would go on to have two children: son, Joseph and daughter, Jennifer.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years, Jim; son, Joseph; and by her brother, Tom Morrison.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Duty (Joel); grandsons, Jamie and Jacob Duty; brother, Jim Morrison (Mary); and by many other loving family and friends.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
