Marvin Lee Shenold

Rose Hill – Shenold, Marvin Lee, age 79, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Memorial service 10am Friday, December 2, Rose Hill United Methodist Church, 19551 SW Butler Rd., Rose Hill, KS. Mr. Shenold was born in 1932 in Langdon, KS, the son of Charles and Mary Shenold. He worked at Boeing for 33 years, 16 of those years spent with his family in the Philadelphia area. Marvin retired in 1990. He loved sailing and was a member of Rose Hill United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Naomi (Hine) Shenold; daughter, Beverly Oettle of Rose Hill; son, Mark Shenold of Media, PA; daughter, Christine Parker of Tonganoxie, KS; brother, Delmar Shenold of Wichita; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Rose Hill United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 189 Rose Hill, KS 67133.
