Marvin Evans

Marvin Evans, Born May 15 th , 1959 in Wichita, KS. Marvin was 8 minutes younger than his twin brother Michael Evans.

Marvin graduated high school at Belle Plaine, KS in 1977 and attended both Wichita State University and Emporia University.

Marvin worked as a welder and a jack of all trades for most of his life. Marvin passed away on August 6, 2024 in Kansas City.

Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Evans, Brothers, Michael and Marshall Evans, Uncle

Forest Marvin Roberts Jr., and step father Harold Rankin.

He is survived by his mother Elsie Rankin, daughter Sarah Evans Simpson and grandson Bradley Simpson.

Visitation: Friday, August 16th, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Smith Family Mortuary Mulvane Chapel 501 SE Louis Blvd. Mulvane, Kansas 67110.

Funeral Service: 10:30 am, Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at Smith Family Mortuary Mulvane Chapel 501 SE Louis Blvd. Mulvane, Kansas 67110. Interment to follow at Belle Plaine Cemetery.
