Martina Myers

Martina Gwendolyn (Mills) Myers, 97, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025. She was born May 2, 1927 to Jesse and Mary Mills in Anthony, Kansas.

Martina enjoyed baking bread and cinnamon rolls and her cookie jars were always full.

She loved sewing. Over the years she made her children’s clothes and it was even more special when they were matching. She also enjoyed embroidering. Dish towels were her specialty and are still enjoyed by friends and family.

She always welcomed all the new babies into the family with a baby blanket that she sewed with love and a jean quilt upon graduation, that everyone treasured.

She loved playing cards and beating anyone at Chinese checkers.

She was devoted to praying the daily rosary for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Myers; grandson, Patrick Myers;

great-grandsons, John Weingartner and Bo Fowler; and great great granddaughter, Aurora Perry.

Martina is survived by her 10 children, Michael (Margo) Myers, Connie (Larry) Tatro, David (Jeri) Myers, Teresa Egger, Barbara (Greg) Proctor, Marcella Mayo, Richard (Kim) Myers, Cathy (Mark) Bezinque, Mary (Rick) Ellis, Carla (Mike) Coffey; 45 grandchildren; 109 great grandchildren; and 25 great great grandchildren.

The Rosary will be at 7pm, Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at St. Michael Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at

St. Michael Catholic Church 525 E. Main St. Mulvane, Kansas 67110.

Interment to follow at Mulvane Cemetery.
