Marshall David Darter, age 66, of Cassoday, formerly of Derby, retired Inspector, Spirit Aerosystems, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013. Visitation 1-8PM Monday with family receiving friends 6-8PM, Funeral Service 10AM Tuesday, August 6, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Oatville. Marshall is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon & Grace Darter. Survivors: wife of 39 years, Kathy; son, Shane, Tulsa, OK; daughter, Tiffany Pettit (Christopher Parker), Newton; brother, Mervin (Linda), Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Jackson, Grace and Benjamin.
