He is survived by his wife Trudy; sons, Marlin Jr. and his wife Angela, Fred and his wife Christy, Eric and his wife Robin; brother, Richard Carter; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Marlin is preceded in death by a daughter Trudy.
