Marietta Sullivan

Marietta N. Sullivan, 90, homemaker, died Friday, December 20, 2013. She is survived by her sons, Michael Sullivan (Judy) of Rose Hill, Barry Sullivan (Kandy) of Benton; daughters, Linda Raymer (John) of Norwalk, CA, Kathleen Ellis of Wichita; sisters, Geraldine Dellinger of Coachella, CA, Donna Lee Fitzpatrick of Wichita; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Marietta married Wayne “Sully” Sullivan on May 10, 1946 in Wichita, Kansas. He died in 2000. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Elsie Neuwirth; siblings, James and Harry Neuwirth; Ursula Metsker, Zueletta Mayer; son-in-law Steven Ellis. Viewing: noon-4pm Thursday, Hilyard Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass, KS. Rosary: 7pm Thursday, St. James Catholic Church, 1012 E. Belmont, Augusta, KS. Funeral Mass: 10am Friday, December 27, 2013, also at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is established with the Arthritis Foundation.
