Marietta L. Slates, of Wichita, age 74. retired USD 259 employee, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013. Visitation 1-4 PM Tuesday with family present 2-4 PM, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary. Graveside 11 AM Wednesday, Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bently. She is preceded in death by her husband Dale; sons, Kevin & Dale, Jr. Survivors: daughter, Sabrina Bourland, Wichita; sister, Jackie Hodson, DesMoines, IA; 5 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial: The Salvation Army.
