Maribel Burden

Maribel Burden was born June 15, 1923 in Wichita Kansas to William III and Pearl Slagle Phillips. She was a retired secretary with Boeing aircraft. Maribel died Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Her husband Mervin; son, David Burden and daughter, Carol Ann Rich precede her in death. Survivors include her grandchildren, Stacey Burden, Ken Clinger and Angie Hayes. Visitation: 1-8pm Tuesday, January 21, 2014 with family greeting friends from 5-7pm at Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home, 219 W. 2nd St., Belle Plaine, KS. Funeral service: 10am Wednesday, January 22, 2014, Belle Plaine United Methodist Church, 124 E. 10th, Belle Plaine. A memorial is established with Alzheimer's Association.
