Marian Beatrice Boroughs Hunter

Marian Beatrice (Boroughs) Hunter, age 81 passed away July 30, 2012 to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Friday August 3, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S. Woodlawn Ave., Derby. Marian was a woman of great strength, faith, courage, kindness and tenderness. She was the loving wife of D. Dwight Hunter, deceased; a very great mother to Jeff (Stacey), Eric (Sandra), Jennifer (Mike Miller) and Ed (Melody); a sister to Wanda Wilson; and a caring grandmother to Dara, Malory, Jordon (Katherine), Josh, Chrisinda, Hunter (Miller), Melinda, Hannah, Johnathan, Shelby, Ian and Nina; she was most proud to welcome recently into this world her first great-granddaughter, Josephine; and she leaves many nieces and nephews. She leaves a legacy that will never be forgotten. She was a great friend to everyone. Her last wish was for her children and family to always get along and love one another. God rest your soul, mother.
