Maria Jo Praeger

Praeger, Maria Jo, 28, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. David Lawrence, her fiancé, also passed away in the accident. Visitation Thursday, 1-8 p.m. A joint funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 1335 N. Buckner, Derby. Maria’s family includes her parents, Diana Praeger, Derby, and Joe Praeger, Amarillo, Texas; sister Katie (Geremy) Owen, Ohio, and brother Linzy Praeger; Texas; grandparents Melvin and Juanita Godwin, Derby, and Otto and Ruth Anne Praeger, Wichita, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
