Marguerite Taul

Marguerite "Marty" Taul was born on March 24, 1940, and died peacefully in her sleep on March 9, 2026. Marty was born in Hackleburg, Alabama and grew up in Honea Path, SC, where she was a member of The First Assembly of God in Honea Path. In 1968, she married Glen Taul and moved to Texas. She quickly became a beloved member of the Taul family, and they settled down in Texas with their 3 children. After moving around several times, Marty and Glen settled for good in Derby, KS, close to family and friends.

Marty adored her husband & her family. Her love culminated in the caregiving she gave to her family when ill and in their greatest time of need. She loved to read, loved music, loved to play games & crossword puzzles, loved to shop, and loved all things blingy & flashy. Marty knew how to make an entrance!

Marty is preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. & Mrs. William Smith; Sisters, Lorene Cooley and Carole Frank; Brother, William "Buck" Smith; and her son, Mark Ford. Marty is survived by her husband, Glen Taul; her children: Dana & Rick Frank, David & Terri Taul; 7 grandchildren: Nick, Matthew, Sierra, Abby, Bobby, Steven, and Lilly; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous much-beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on April 11th in their home. It will be a Come & Go event from 2pm to 5pm. All family & friends are welcome.
