Derby - Margaret Mary (Whitcomb) Collins died Wednesday, March 23, 2022 holding the hand of her loving husband of 69 years and 7 months. She was born April 16, 1931 to Ethelyn and Howard Whitcomb in Burlington, Vermont.
Retiring from Beech Aircraft as an inspector. She loved life, animals, traveling, exploring, meeting people and sharing with others about the Lord.
Preceded in death by her mother, father, 3 brothers and 3 great grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her husband, John Collins, living in Kansas since 1953. They have 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2-4pm on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Funeral service is 2:30 pm Monday, March 28, 2022, both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd. Derby, KS 67037.
