Joy Margaret Cosby

Our beloved Joy Cosby of Hayville, Kansas left us Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the age of 98. Born to Alex and Debly Salem March 10, 1926 in Cimarron, Kansas. Several years after graduating at Cimarron High School, she married Russell G. Hildebrant and had three children, Rick, Shelley and Sandy, where they lived off of Anita Drive in Haysville where she remained until her final days. After the passing of Russ in 2001, she married Glenn Cosby in 2004.

Joy took great pride in her work as a secretary at Case Manufacturing and the Haysville Police Department and finally retired in her late 80's. Favorite past times were the lunches and dinners with her friends and was very active at the United Methodist with Sunday School and church.

Joy was a wonderful and beautiful person and requested nothing more than love and acceptance in life. Joy is loved and missed by her sister, Zina Hoover; daughter, Sandy Hargrove; and grandkids, Jaared Hildebrant/Stephanie, Derrick Hildebrant/Amber, Mikaela Hildebrant Sisney/B.J. and Travis Hargrove
