Margaret "Peggy" Benning, 88, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. She was born June 18, 1938 to Earl and Marjorie McCarter in Coffeyville, Kansas.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; son, Jeffrey Benning and sister, Kathleen Fischer.
Survivors include children, Andy (Jody) Benning, Tim (Tonya) Benning, David (Debbie) Benning, Chris Benning; Sadie, Keegan, Craig, Evan, Lauren, Logan, Drew, Lucas, JD, Lisa, Field; 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Rosary is 10:00 am Monday, August 3, 2026, followed by a 10:30 am Celebration of Life Service both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Road, Derby, KS 67037.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E Rockhill St #403, Wichita, KS 67206.
