Marcia Galvan

Marcia Jeanine Galvan, 76, Of Mulvane, KS, passed away on September 8, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Private family services are scheduled.

Marcia was born on September 15, 1945, in Wichita, KS to Lesley and Earlene (Evans) Wilkie. In 1963 she graduated from Wichita, KS high school.

After high school Marcia married Robert Nungesser and in 1966 they had a son Wesley F. Nungesser. They divorced and several years later she married Martin Galvan and they made their home in Augusta, KS, until his death in 2003. Marcia spent most of her working career as a teller at Prairie State Bank in Augusta, KS.

Marcia was always happy and loved to have fun. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and being on the go. Marcia was very giving and would help anyone in need. In her spare time she loved to go on family vacations and cruises where many wonderful memories were made. She was very involved with the senior center where she learned to line dance and had a heart for volunteering with several different organizations.

Marcia believed in God and when possible was involved with her church. She loved her son and grandchildren and was always there for them. Marcia is survived by her son Wesley F. Nungesser and wife Kelli of Mulvane, KS; grandchildren, Brandon R. Nungesser and wife Kaylee of Mulvane, KS and Mathew J. Nungesser of Mulvane, KS; great grandson Callen J. Nungesser as well as brother Dennis Wilkie and wife Dorothy. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as granddaughter Trisha Ann Nungesser.
