Lynda R. Novotny, 77, retired USD 259 para-professional, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014. She is preceded in death by her son, Brian Novotny. Survivors include her husband, Norman; daughter, Ann Gardner and her husband Mike; grandson, Clayton Gardner and his wife Megan; great-grandchildren, Braden, Olivia and Kate; and her four-legged children, Alvin, Fluffy and Midnight. Viewing: 2-8pm today, September 25, 2014. Funeral service: 2pm Friday, September 26, 2014, both at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. A memorial is established with Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
