Lyle L. Easter

Douglass – Easter, Lyle L., age 88, retired General Motors Service Manager, died Monday, October 31, 2011. Vistiation 1-8pm Tuesday, November 1, with family present 6-8pm at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass, KS. Funeral service 10am Wednesday, November 2, at Douglass United Methodist Church, 204 S. Willow, Douglass with burial to follow at Douglass Cemetery. Lyle was born July 28, 1923 in White City, KS. Survivors include; wife, LeElla; Daughters, Noma Paulin, Jenice Easter; Sons, Rick and Ted Easter, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Lyle served his country in the Marines during WWII on-board the battleship USS West Virginia. Memorials may be made in Lyle’s name to the Douglass Methodist Church.
