Lulu Marie Merseal

Lu M. Merseal, 92, passed away April 03, 2025. She was born August 25, 1932 to Orville and Linnie Knight in Carthage, MO.

Lu's presence was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. She found her greatest joys in the simple pleasures of life - spending weekends surrounded by the love of her family and sharing laughter over card games with her dear friends. A true lover of nature, Lu could often be found sitting outside with her beloved puppies, soaking in the sunshine, watching birds fly through the sky, and admiring the beauty of blooming flowers.

Her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those whose lives she touched.

Lu was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; son, Jim (Cathy) Merseal and grandson, Jasson Merseal.

Lulu is survived by her daughter, Ann Epperson; grandchildren, Steven (Katie) Merseal, Shaun (Courtney) Merseal, Laura (Ryan) Croley, Kyle (Megan) Epperson; great-grandchildren, Julie Merseal, Emily Merseal, Zoey Merseal, Kinley Merseal, Berkley Merseal, Oakley Merseal, Breckyn Croley, Brystol Croley, Quinn Croley, and great-great-granddaughter, Aerith

Memorial service is 11:00 am Friday, April 18, 2025 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby, KS 67037.
