Lucinda Jane Green

Lucinda Jane "Cindy" Green, 83, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Friday, with family present 4-6, at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, at Rose Hill Christian Church, 314 N. Rose Hill Rd. Interment to follow at Douglass Cemetery. Cindy was active in the Rose Hill Christian Church, and was a regular member of the FCC Douglass Women's Prayer Group. She served on the Douglass School Board from 1979 to 1987. Preceded in death by her parents, Don and Irene Taylor, and grandson Victor Oliver. Survived by husband of 62 years, John Green; children Madelyn Oliver and Shelby (Shawna) Green all of Douglass; grandchildren Taylor Oliver, Clara Oliver, Lauren (Terry) Page, Zoey (Reagan Biechler) Green, Zachary Green; step-great-grandchildren Colton and Corbyn Page. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
