Loyce Lindsey

Lindsey, Loyce “Christene”, 95, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014. She was born July 16, 1918 to Marion and Maggie Joines in Caddo, OK. Christene was dedicated to her family and an active member of Derby Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of nearly 70 years, Grady Lindsey in 2006; and siblings, Oscar, Robert, Grady, Nadean, Madeline, and Royce. Christene is survived by her children, Joyce (Ralph) Trawick, Carolyn Lindsey, and Tim (Carrie) Lindsey; grandchildren, Jana, Stacey, Chris, Jami, Shelley, and Jon; and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Tuesday, 1 to 8 pm with family present between 5 and 7 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rock, Derby, KS 67037. Funeral: 1 pm, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Derby Church of the Nazarene, 840 N. Woodlawn Blvd., Derby, KS 67037. Memorial contributions may be made to the Derby Church of the Nazarene.
