Loyal G. Kaup, 84, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014. Visitation 1-8 pm Friday, with family present 5-7, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 2 pm Saturday, at Cross Way Church, 421 N. Westview Dr., Derby. Loyal was preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna, and siblings Irene Trexler, Everett Kaup, and Lois Sherman. Survived by children Kathy (Duane) Houston of Haysville, Mark (Cindy) Kaup, Barbra (Curtis ) Unkel, and Shelly Smith, all of Derby; nine grandsons, two granddaughters, eleven great-grandsons, six great-granddaughters, and one great-great-granddaughter. A memorial has been established with Cross Way Church.
