Loy Lee Orr, 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife Norma and siblings, Linden Sr. (Tom), George, Wayne, and Jim. Survived by sons, Jon Bennett (Donna) and Bryan Orr (Terri), and daughter Ayrice Orr; grandchildren, Brooke Azire (Tim), Ashleigh Chaffee (Aaron), Geoff Orr (Mariah); Joe Bennett, Matt Bennett, and Emily Bennett; great-grandchildren Eli Azire, Geoff Orr Jr., Joseph Orr, and Caleb Orr; Sister Rita Bryant (Gary); and numerous nieces and nephews. Loy was born and raised in Ponca City, OK and later served his country on active duty in the United States Air Force as an Airman 2nd Class, ACW Operator. Upon his honorable discharge from active duty service in 1960, Loy began a career managing full service gas stations for the Derby Refining Company in Wichita, KS. He was a skilled businessman who turned many underperforming or failing stations into profitable operations. In 1975, he left Derby Refining and started his own mobile truck tire repair service, Instant Tire Service, which is still in operation today under the ownership of oldest son, Jon Bennett. He was an active member of Countryside Christian Church and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and best friend Janice. Viewing will be held at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary in Wichita, Sunday, April 3, from 1 – 5 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, April 4, at Countryside Christian Church, 1919 S.
