Derby – VanCauwenbergh, Louis Robert “Bob Vann”, age 85, WWII Veteran and retired Boeing employee, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather went home to be with Jesus January 22, 2011. Visitation 1-8pm Thursday with family present 6-8pm; funeral service 2pm Friday both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theophile and Hazel; son, Robin; brother, Bernard; sisters, Mildred and Audrey. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Frances of Derby; sons, Bernard of Wichita, Neal and Brian of Houston, TX; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter.
