Loretta Strode

Loretta Strode, age 91, passed away August 5, 2013. Visitation 1-5pm Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Smith Mortuary, Derby. Rosary 7pm Thursday, August 8, 2013, Funeral Mass 10am Friday, August 9, 2013, both at St. Michael Catholic Church, 525 E. Main St., Mulvane, where she was a founding member. Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Mary Herbers; husband, Ray Strode; brother, Sylvester Herbers. She is survived by her daughters, Martha (Jim) Donohue of Valley Center, Norma (John) Cregan of Topeka; grandchildren, Marcia (Tim) Seltmann, Kevin (Nicole) Donohue, Shawn (Brooke) Cregan, Colleen (Shawn) Landon; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Alvin (Zenita) Herbers; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with the church and Mulvane Care and Share, 100 W. Main St., Mulvane.
