Lois Jane South

Lois Jane South, 79, died Monday, April 11, 2011. She was born May 11, 1931 at Isabelle, Ks., to McCage and Myrtle Ford. Lois was a graduate of Isabelle High School. She was a homemaker, member of the Women’s Bowling Assoc., a den mother and bus driver. She had also worked at Boeing as a riveter. Lois is preceded in death by her husband Louis South and son Andy Richardson. Survivors include her children, Jerrie DeRose of Hutchinson, Linda Kay Snyder of Gridley, Charles and Louis South, both of Wichita, Rick South of Longton, Mildred Harrison of Wellington; 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. Viewing: 1-8pm Sunday, April 17, 2011. The family will greet friends from 4-6pm at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 3pm Monday, April 18, 2011, at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita. Memorials may be sent to Catholic Charities Foster Grandparent Program, 534 N.
