Lois P. Howeth

Lois P. Howeth, age 91, went to Heaven on June 4, 2013. She was born in Belle Plaine, Kansas on April 23, 1922. She worked for the Federal Civil Service at Boeing Wichita retiring in 1976. Lois sold home interiors for several years and enjoyed decorating her own home. She was a feisty, fun, talented Christian woman who loved church, family, cooking, crafts, sewing and doing things for others. Lois loved everyone she met and never knew a stranger. Her parents William H. and Fannie Mae Prothro; 5 sisters; 1 brother; and 3 stillborn babies precede her in death. Survivors: sons Gary G. Harris and wife Jan, James M. Harris Jr and wife Donna; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; The family requests memorials to Derby Church of Christ or Midian Plane of Mercy.
