Kathy Casey

65, passed away Friday, April 13th, 2018. She was born September 10th, 1952 to Bob and Nova Jean Smith in Salem, Arkansas. Kathy loved the outdoors, fishing and camping with Rick. She also enjoyed dancing, music and spending time with her family. Kathy was a dispatcher for Haysville Police Department for 20 years, a member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandsons, Chance and Lane Casey. Kathy is survived by her husband, Rick Casey; daughters, Darla (Tim) Vaughn, Brandi Jensen; son Joe (Rebecca) Casey; grandchildren,Hannah Vaughn, Dakota Vaughn, Remington Vaughn, Amber Jensen, Hunter Barnes, Justin Casey,Addison Casey, Hank Casey, Hadley Casey, Camryn Frager, Rylee Frager; great grandchildren, Hayden Carpenter, Eliana Katheryn Jensen; brother, Ed Smith; sisters, Brenda Dudley, Debbie Ramsey and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a message of gratitude to the staff at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice for their excellent care and compassion for Kathy. Memorial service will be held at 11 am Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Westside Freewill Baptist Church 3310 W MacArthur Rd, Wichita, KS 67217.
