Lois Faye Belote, age 72, of Derby, formerly of Pratt, retired Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks employee, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012. Visitation 2-8 PM Wednesday, May 23, 2012, with family receiving friends 6-8 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 AM Thursday, May 24, 2012, Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S. Woodlawn, Derby. Graveside service 3 PM Thursday, Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur & Josephine Walter. Survivors: husband of 52 years, Wesley; son, Duane (Deborah) Belote, of Gilbert, AZ; daughter, Diane Chilcott, of Derby; brother, John (Judy) Walter, of Byron, MN; grandchildren, Chelsea and Shannon Chilcott, David, Danielle, and Dylan Belote; and an aunt, Marian Walker of Pueblo, CO.
