Lois Babb

Lois Ann Babb, age 89, of Belle Plaine, loving mother, grandmother and retired Boeing Company employee, was received into heaven with open arms on Monday, July 9, 2018. Visitation 1-8 pm Friday, July 13, with family receiving friends 5-6:30 pm, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 11 am Saturday, July 14, First Baptist Church, 612 N. Linden, Belle Plaine. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Esther Black; husband, William J. "Bill" Babb; son, Ronald Babb; daughter, Charlene Slater; brother, Carl Black; and her sister, Alice Tucker. Survivors include her daughters, Theresa Babb, of Wichita, Rhonda Navarre (Donald), of Rose Hill; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
