Lloyd Andrew Leinmiller, born September 9, 1944 in Russell, KS, left this earth to join his Lord Jesus Christ on November 4, 2023 from Wichita, KS. He will be remembered for his distinctive sense of humor,
longwinded stories, and his love of hunting, baseball, his many dogs, and above all, his family.
He is survived by Deborah Jean (Coy) Leinmiller, his faithful wife of nearly fifty years. With her he raised a family of three children and five grandchildren: Brett Andrew Leinmiller, Aaron Gerald Leinmiller, Jessica Jean
(Leinmiller) Ragsdale [Jason], Addox Mayhem Ragsdale-Dills, Adilaide Gabriella Leinmiller, Madiline Pearl Leinmiller, Avery Amilia Ragsdale, and Jaden Isaac Ragsdale. He is also survived by his two sisters, Carol (Leinmiller) Burch and Virginia (Leinmiller) Martin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew George Leinmiller and Gladys Irene (Taylor) Leinmiller, and his older brothers, George Leinmiller [Marlene] and Wayne Leinmiller. Lloyd held several professional roles in his career, he was most proud of his work as a journalist and spent many years in aerospace procurement. As a young man, Lloyd served his country in the US Army Reserves.
A visitation for family and friends will be held 5-7pm on Tuesday November 7 at Smith Mortuary in Derby, and there will be a graveside service at 11am on Wednesday November 8 at Greenwood Cemetery.
