Lloyd C. Dixon

Dixon, Lloyd C., 91, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He was born November 3, 1922 to George Greenleaf and Lee Ila (Jones) Dixon in Larue, TX. Lloyd worked as a machinist for Boeing and Cessna. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 57 years, Velma Dixon; sons, Tom Dixon and Curtis (Janiece Baum) Dixon; grandchildren, Dustin Prewitt, Lindsey Prewitt, and Benjamin Prewitt; sister-in-law, Juanita Dixon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation: Sunday, 1 to 5 pm at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary. Funeral: 1 pm, Monday, June 30, 2014 at West Side Church of the Nazarene. Interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Masonic Home or Starkey, Inc.
