Linda Shrubshall

Linda "Nana" Shrubshall of Mulvane passed away at the age of 66 from natural causes on Saturday, April 4, 2020. Linda Faye Shrubshall was born on September 14, 1953 in Jeffersonville Indiana. Her marriage to Ernest Shrubshall joined two families that would continue to grow into a constellation of people who became family through Nana’s love. Most people knew her as Nana, because she treated everyone as if they were her own. She never turned away anyone who needed anything, especially a hug or funny line that would make Nana snort laugh and spread to anyone within earshot. Every person that knew Nana felt that they had a special connection to her, and they were all right. Nana had a way of making every person feel valued and cared for. Her heart was full of the best of intentions and a dash of mischief. No matter the circumstance, Nana found the strength to comfort those around her. She was always willing to listen, and always willing to get anything her grandchildren wanted, no matter if their parents said no. Linda is survived by her husband Ernest; children, Chris and Tony Shrubshall, Rickie and John Holsapple; five grandchildren, Jessica (Josh), Shy (Enrique), AJ (Autumn), Talon (Caitlin) and Wakinyan; great grandchild, Bindi; siblings Rick McPherson and Diana (Larry) Thompson; and many extended family and friends.
