Linda L. "Cindy" Michau

Linda Lou Michau, AKA “Cindy”, age 76, died peacefully in her sleep Sunday May 30, 2021. She was born December 11, 1944, in Three Rivers, Michigan, the daughter and second child of Jannette Mary Moyer and Peter Franklin Lammon. She had one brother, David Lammon. She was preceded in death by her brother and both parents.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Michau; two daughters, Dawn Renee Herbel and Stephanie Lynn Davis, and a half sister, Mary Stapleton.

She and Bob were married in 1973 and had no children together but collectively have three daughters; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She had many friends including many members of Derby Masonic Lodge whom she called her brothers. She loved and respected masonry early in life as her father, brother and stepfather were Masons. Bob has been a Mason in this Lodge for 50 years and in conversation one day Cindy asked, “What do you want for your last wishes?” He replied. “I want to be cremated and my ashes scattered over the grounds of Derby Lodge.” To which she replied, “That’s what I want also so we can be together.”
