Linda Lashinski

Linda Joy Lashinski, 70, lost her short battle with cancer and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

Linda was a devoted wife, who loved her husband Tony with her entire heart. She raised three great kids Ginger Bradley, Valerie Heird and Anthony “Fritz” Lashinski, II, who gave her great joy with their own families. She hosted many family dinners to celebrate them. She retired from the medical field, where she loved helping people. Her favorite was volunteering at the McConnell pharmacy helping older vets navigate the online system. She loved traveling and was determined to step foot in every state in America. She accomplished this great feat with her beloved Tony and the rest of the Lashinski Lounge Lizards. In her spare time, she enjoyed creative arts such as knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, embroidery, and ceramics. You can find many of her works throughout her families’ homes.

She is survived by and will be most genuinely missed by her husband of 50 years Tony Lashinski; her children, Ginger (Paul) Bradley, Valerie (Jamie) Heird, and Fritz (Carlene) Lashinski; her grandchildren, Caleb Heird, Jackson Bradley, Emma Heird, Aaron Heird, Quinten Lashinski, John Bradley, Serenity Lashinski, and Kylanna Lashinski and her favorite “not my dog” Carrie.

Visitation will be 1:00pm to 8:00 pm July 15, 2021, at Smith Mortuary, Derby. Recitation of the Rosary will be 10:00 am July 16, 2021, with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10:30, both at St. Mary Catholic Church, Derby. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.
