Linda J. Parker

Parker, Linda Jeannette, 81, passed away Monday, August 19th, 2024. She was born September 27th, 1942 to Howell and Daisy Smith in Acworth, Georgia.

Preceded in death by her parents Howell and Daisy Smith; daughter, Laura Parker-Graves; grandchildren, Kaleb, Kelsey, Cameron; siblings, Patricia Wall and William (Buddy) Smith. Survivors include her husband, Gary; children; Cynthia Dewey, Steven (Lee Ann) Parker, Russell (Terri) Parker; granddaughters, Haley, Kendra, Maddie, Hannah, Joy, Lyndsey, Becky, Nicole; brother, Randall Smith.

Linda enjoyed traveling with her husband Gary. They loved fishing and camping. In her later years she enjoyed gardening and quilting. She volunteered at Andover and Rose Hill schools over the years and she and Gary hosted many of the annual Halloween parties and other events for all of her "adopted" grandchilden.

Rosary is 7:00pm Thursday, August 22, 2024 and the Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 23rd, 2024 both at St Vincent de Paul Church, 123 N. Andover Rd, Andover, Kansas 67002. Interment to follow at Dunlap Cemetary, Pleasant Township in Rose Hill, Kansas.
