Linda Kay Allen

El Dorado – Linda Kay (Reheis) Allen, age 68, born June 9, 1945 in Wichita and passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 in El Dorado. Visitation 1-8pm Friday, June 14th, with family present 6-8pm, Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass. Funeral service 1pm Saturday, June 15th, at Douglass United Methodist Church, 204 S. Willow. Linda is preceded in death by her father, Marvin Reheis. Survivors include her devoted and loving husband of 32 years, Ron Allen of El Dorado; mother and step-father, Dorothy and George Hatfield; mother in-law, Kitty Allen; sister, Sandra (Raymond) Knoll; brothers, Gary (Carolyn), Roger (Ernie), Steve Reheis; step-mother, Deanie Reheis; many nieces, nephews and cousins that Linda adored. Linda was a registered nurse and was always caring for others. She loved animals and would give them tender, loving care. She will be remembered for her warm smile, sense of humor and her love for Ron and her extended family. She will be missed but not forgotten. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
