Lila Marie Fry

Lila Marie (Johnson) Fry, 79 of Wichita, KS passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, October 1st, 2024. Lila was the youngest of 4 children born to Rudolph and Ethel Johnson, on March 10th, 1945 in Hutchinson, KS.

Lila was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and dear friend. She was preceded in death by her brothers Donald (Dorothea) Johnson, Evan (Carolyn) Johnson, and her husband Dennis Fry. She is survived by her sister Glennis (Bob) Lonard, brother Larry Fry, son Scott, daughter Shawna, grandsons Tanner (Bri) and Tim, granddaughters Tamara and Teresa, and 12 great grandchildren.

Lila’s warmth was known by all who had the luck to encounter her in their life. Many children and their parents shared in the love that Lila had to give by way of her home daycare. Her absence will be deeply felt by all of her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26th at Andover Lutheran Church in Windom, KS at 3:00 PM. 117 Dakota Rd, Windom, KS 67491.
