Lewis Lowell Wagoner

January 29, 1921 — December 7, 1941

Lewis Lowell Wagoner, age 20, USS Oklahoma seaman, was killed in action December 7, 1941 at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. His remains have recently been identified and are being returned to Kansas for a funeral service 10:00 AM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Following the service his remains will be buried in the family plot at Whitewater Cemetery. Lewis is survived by his brother, Carl Wagoner, of Syracuse, UT, along with several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Honor Flight, P.O. BOX 2371, Hutchinson, KS 67504 and/or the VFW Relief Fund, P.O. Box 6957, Haysville, KS 67060.
