Lewis Harrison Stiner of Wichita, age 73, was born on September 18, 1950 in Stroud, Oklahoma. He passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023.
He is mourned by his wife, Karen, of 43 years and son, Josh Greenwood. So much love was shared between the three. At a young age, Josh lovingly referred to Lewis as “my Lewis”. Lewis was a soft spoken and kind loving man to all. His heart was always open and he had love overflowing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Orval and Pearl (Nance) Stiner, and his sister, Narvella Pike. He leaves behind siblings Jim, Harvey, Jonnah, Linda and many nephews and nieces.
He worked from 1980 until his retirement at Boeing/Spirit Aerosystems in Metal Bond. He loved his pets, Hopper the cat and Sugar the dog. He really loved fishing and his pickup trucks. He raised great gardens. He loved working puzzles, especially 1,000 piece puzzles, and finished them all. He had the patience of a saint. He loved to take everyone fishing, young and old, especially to BEA Lake. He caught many large fish and won several fishing tournaments over the years.
He is remembered for his big smile, his laughter, and that there was nothing he wouldn’t do for you. He has left a big hole in all our hearts and will be missed.
