Leona May Ferguson

DERBY- Ferguson, Leona May, 95, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Westview Manor in Derby. A Celebration of Life will be at 1:30pm Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Madison Avenue United Methodist Church, 900 E Madison in Derby. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 1 at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Road in Derby from 1:00 – 8:00pm with family present from 6:30 – 8:00pm. Interment will occur in Davenport, IA at a later date. Leona was born in Ashland, OH, on April 3, 1920, the first child of the late Conrad and Edith Bohl. Preceded in death by husband, Robert G. Ferguson Sr.; sister, Sarah; brothers, Harry and Edward. Survivors include son, Robert Guy (Brenda); grandsons, Robbie and Chris; great grandchildren, Briley, Aiden, and Gage; sister, Florence (Leonard) Bridges; and niece, Rachel Bridges. Leona was a Bookeeper, who along with her husband, owned and operated Ferguson Heating and Air Conditioning in Bettendorf, IA.
