Leland "Lee" Knaus

Knaus, Leland “Lee” Wayne, 65, passed away on December 10, 2025. He was born on February 2, 1960, in Valparaiso, Florida to his parents, Robert and Margaret Knaus.

He dedicated over 25 years to working in aircraft as a mechanic. His job would bring him to Tulsa where he would meet the love of his life, Lisa. In that instance, it was love at first sight. Lee loved attending concerts with his wife, as well as going on vacations to the beach, Jamacia was the favorite destination. He enjoyed playing pool and softball. Lee was also a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan!

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gale Kresser; and paternal grandparents, Edward R. and Mary Knaus.

Lee is survived by his wife of 15 ½ years, Lisa Knaus; children, Nickolas (Justine Parris) Marsh, Kendra (Terry) Golden and Hunter Cole Landers; grandchildren, Christian Golden, Katherine “Katie Bug” Golden, Tyler “Punkin” Golden, Elizabeth Golden, Peyton Marsh, Kiara Parris, and Lainey Marsh; and sister, Marcy (Jeff) Lewis; brother, Edward Knaus; parents-in-law, Vernice Landers ad Margaret Landers; sister-in-law, Leslie (Sean) Belt; brother-in-law, Lyle (Tara) Landers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 2-4pm at the Machinists Union, 3830 S. Meridian Ave., Wichita, KS 67217.
