Leila Gail Mckay

DOUGLASS – McKay, Leila Gail (Edwards), age 60, retired postal clerk, passed away Monday, February 28, 2011 at home after a long, hard fought battle with breast cancer. Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Friday at Douglass Church of Christ with Mr. Keith Cross officiating. Gail was born April 2, 1950 to Raymond and Ilo Edwards in El Dorado, KS. Her parents preceded her in death. She is also preceded by brothers, Armond and Dennis “Butch” and sister, Delight Condon. She is survived by her husband James Saltkill of the home; son, Kelley (Rachael) McKay, of Augusta; grandson, Bo; step-daughter, Jamie Saltkill, of Ocala, FL; brothers, David (Wilma) Edwards, of Bonita Springs, FL, Odell (Karen) Edwards, of Douglass; sisters, Rometa (Keith) Seal, Janelle “Nellie” Edwards, of Douglass, and Lori (Daryl) Metheny, of Derby; 21 nieces and nephews, numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews and a host of extended family members.
