Leila Catherine Lentz

Lelia Catherine Lentz, born July 2, 1934, joined her husband Keith Lentz in heaven on October 17, 2015. Visitation 1-8 Monday and Funeral service will be 2pm Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Smith Mortuary Chapel, 1415 N Rock Rd, Derby. She was born in Athol, Kansas to a loving family, parents Reid and Frances Panter, sister Virginia and brother, Bud. Keith and Lelia started their life together in November of 1953 and moved to Derby. They were blessed with two children, Ginger and Robert. As Lelia's family grew, she loved hosting Sunday dinners for her family, Ginger and Lee roy Cates; Robert and Glenda Lentz, Katie (Cates), Constantine, Izzy and will Panakos, Lee (Cates), Scott, Noah, Brooke, Lilly and Duke Livingston, Angie (Lentz) and Paul Courson, John Cates and Sarah Lentz. Lelia loved Mickey Mouse, camping, fishing, sewing, JCPenney snow globes, volunteering at Mulvane Care and Share and her church. She is also survived by her beloved poodle, Mickey and Black Cat.
