Lawrence G. "Larry" Schmitt, age 72, avid golfer, cat lover, collector of addresses and retired Boeing Company Vendor Cost Analyst, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015. Visitation with family 2 PM - 4 PM Wednesday, September 16, Smith Mortuary 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, John & Floye Schmitt; brother, James; and his sister, Carol Morgan. Survivors include his wife, Diane; son Jeffrey (LaReina), of Winfield; daughters, Tammy Pater (Bill), of Derby, Pamela Kennan (Rod), of Phoenix; brothers, Robert, Montrose, CO, John, of Wichita; grandchildren, Megan (Frank), Joshua, Jonathan, Sela, Tea, Samatha, and Anneliese.
