Lavonne Tefft

Tefft, LaVonne, 84, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013. Memorial service 10 am Thursday, at Mulvane United Methodist Church, 107 S. Central. LaVonne was a member of Mulvane United Methodist Church, Utopia Sunday School Class, and United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Mulvane Women’s Club and Mulvane Garden Club, as she loved growing flowers. She also enjoyed beading jewelry and spending time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Cecil and Irma Butts; husband Kenneth Tefft, son-in-law Steve Toledo; sisters and brother Dallas and Madelon Petersen, Janice Craven, and Leonard Butts. Survived by children Peggy Toledo, Fred Tefft, Mary (Dan) Hunter, Janet Tefft; grandchildren Rusty and Madelyn Perkins, Jeremy and Heather Baker, Mark and Jenny Colglazier, Tricia Hunter; great-grandchildren Destiny, Caleb, and Holley Perkins, Luke and Hannah Baker, Jacob, David and Isaac Colglazier; brothers Kenneth (Patti) Butts, Donald Butts, Raymond (Jeannie) Butts. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Good Samaritan Fund at Mulvane United Methodist Church, 107 S. Central, Mulvane, KS 67110.
