Laura Kay Childs

Laura Kay Childs, age 48, retired Direct TV employee, passed away, Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Inurnment of her cremated remains will take place at a later date at Resthaven Cemetery, Wichita. Laura is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jess & Lois Tarr and Carl & Berneita Childs. Survivors include her parents, Rex & Lynn Childs, of Derby; brother and sister in-law, Larry and Kathy, of Topeka; nephews, Andrew and Spencer Childs; her beloved dog, Junior and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
