Larry was a loving and compassionate man. Growing up, Larry learned Indian dancing with his siblings. He spent over 30 years with EMS, volunteered with Mt. Hope EMS as an EMT, then went on to school for Paramedics at Hutchinson Community College. Larry worked at HCCC EMS Education, teaching EMTA classes in the Wichita High Schools. He was a co-instructor and lab instructor at WSU in 1996 for paramedic and EMT classes, and was the EMS Director for Pretty Prairie EMS from 1999-2007. He worked for Sedgwick County EMS from April 1, 1985 through April 1, 2010. Larry was also a flight medic for Kansas Air Life (he loved to fly in the fixed wings but would not fly in a helicopter). He loved to teach and mentor EMT and Paramedic students and has been a part of their journeys in EMS education, creating a lasting legacy through them.
