Larry Jacobs
September 28, 1943 — May 31, 2023
Larry Jacobs 79, died Wednesday, May 31st, 2023. He was born September 28th, 1943 in Wichita, KS to Peter and Mary (Schnieder) Jacobs.
Larry was a Seabee in the US Navy and a retired Boeing machinist. His hobbies included camping, fishing, gardening, attending grandkids ball games and was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, six sisters, eight brothers and grandson Drew Scott.
Larry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Brenda (Vaughn) Jacobs of Haysville. Also surviving are his children Amy Holt (Greg), Matt Jacobs (Melinda), Wade Jacobs (Carrie), 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also two sisters and one brother.
Visitation: Sunday, June 4th, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm with the family being present at Smith Mortuary - Haysville 7031 S. Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060.
Memorial Service: 10:30 am, Friday, June 9th, 2023 at Mercy Hill Church 2110 W 45th St. S Wichita, KS
Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
