Belle Plaine - Anderson, Larry Joe, 73, died Saturday, March 26, 2022.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hatfield Smith Funeral Home, 219 W. 2nd Belle Plaine. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Belle Plaine United Methodist Church. Interment to follow at Council Hill Cemetery, Peck, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Opal and Delbert Anderson; three siblings; and former wife, Marie Martens Anderson.
Joe is survived by his partner, Eva Shafer; four children, Teri Newhouse (Michael), Susan Anderson (Eric Gelehrter), Brian Anderson, and Chris Anderson (Tracy); mother of his children, Renee Anderson; step children, Rick Martens (Carla) and Michael Martens (Sheri); 12 grandchildren; brother, Gene Anderson (Darlene); and brother-in-law, Wayne Woolsey.
He was Uncle Joe and Joe Joe to many more.
